Redmond

Sitting at the plateau of the Cascade Mountain Range is Redmond. With over 300 days of sunshine and a wonderfully arid climate, Redmond attracts residents from around the country.

Visit the newly revamped downtown area for local shopping or the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center for a variety of entertainment options. In the summer, the famous Smith Rock can be seen filled with climbers or recreation enthusiasts of all ages.

Home to the region’s airport, Redmond offers quick commuting access. Residents can be found at one of the city’s 25 Dry Canyon parks enjoying the many community events that are offered. Redmond features many outdoor art installations as well as an active art gallery season.
